Abstract :
The reflection effect of transmission lines is modeled as high pass and low pass filters to simplify its analysis and simulation. In additional to the quantitative analysis, the proposed decomposition is able to qualitatively identify different reflection terms for debugging purposes. Experimental result shows that the proposed model has an error of 0.4% for a second order approximation, which is identical to the mathematical error analysis.
