Abstract
In this paper we present a direct method of synthesis for waveguide filters which is applicable to a fairly broad class of filter configurations of practical relevance. Our theoretical and experimental results indicate that the presented method is accurate and computationally efficient both for the design of narrow band and wide band waveguide filters
