Abstract
Usually, in an all-digital receiver, a local clock samples the received waveform at a low sampling rate (fs=2/T or 4/7, T is the symbol interval). Then an interpolator is used for generating the corresponding interpolants which synchronize with the timing of the input signal. By introducing a half-band filter between the matched filter and a simple polynomial-based interpolator, the performance of a receiver is improved
