Abstract :
The paper focuses on the linguistic analysis of natural language requirement specifications that describe behavioral aspects of a given application domain. For that purpose, the NTMS model is employed. This approach allows one to extract semantic contents that can be subsequently treated by means of a conceptual predesign model. This finally allows a rule based and thus automatic mapping to common conceptual models as, e.g., provided for by UML
