Abstract :
The revised Hanning windowing algorithm for recursively computing the second-order information (autocorrelation and cross correlation coefficients) which is needed for the cancellation of recurrent interferences such as the heart interferences in biomedical signals is derived, and the dependence of performance on the effective window length L is investigated. The method is applied to the cancellation of the heart interference in a diaphragmatic electromyogram (EMG). Experimental results showed the effect of the window length L on the performance of an event-synchronous interference canceller and the better quality of this recursive structure canceller
