Abstract :
The telecommunications convergent networks make possible supply a plenty of services to final users, as voice and multimedia services with assured quality of services (QoS) through different access technologies (vertical handover), however this brings a new complex scenario in terms of technology to fit user perceived QoS needs to appropriate technical QoS requirements, aiming to delivery the right service to the right user. Therefore to enable the appropriate choice for each user, this article proposes a business model for the telecommunications segment allowing delivery services to users according each particular user service level agreement (USLA), prepared transparently of the technologies involved, and using the users` perceived QoS parameters defined according the uses` literacy. The proposed business model is based on the service entities, infrastructure entities, content entities and access entities, in order to clarifying the roles and responsibilities of each player and facilitate the relationship between final users and their service provider. This article presents the business model, and describes the operational processes and the system architecture designed to meet the requirements of the proposed business model.
