Abstract :
The performance of a variety of continuous-phase modulation (CPM) schemes with diversity are analysed. Bandwidth efficiency-power trade-offs of modulations are discussed and some guidelines concerning the suitability of particular schemes for specific diversity operations are given. Upper bounds on the error performance of some binary CPMs with maximal ratio predetection combining under slow Rayleigh fading are presented
