Abstract
The ubiquitous sensor network use the zigbee for wireless communication. The characters of the zigbee are low-rate, low-cost, low-power and it is suitable to monitoring service requiring continuous observation. The energy efficiency is one of considering factor to build up ubiquitous sensor network system in wireless environments. In this paper, we implement the low-power multiple event handler for ubiquitous sensor network system using the zigbee. Our multiple event handler use an integrated packet processing various sensing values. If sensor modules, in a same sensor node, detect single or multiple event value, the multiple event handler fill with sensing data allocated position in a payload of an integrated packet beforehand. It transmit event data to sink nodes. Our multiple event handler use timers for an integrated data packet, and it reduce energy consumption when it happen multiple event values. We evaluate the performance of our event handler.
