  • Abstract
    In connection with the shortness of personalized ventilation, such as complicated duct system construction; small room for changes; and so on, a new IAQ improved ventilation system-reversible ventilation system was put forward. After this system´s working principle and features were introduced, it was pointed out that reversible ventilation system was more excellent than personalized ventilation system. Through experimental researches, changes of indoor air flow organization under single and multi-working conditions were gained. The conceptions of maximum specific attenuation quantity of ventilation and relative specific attenuation quantity of ventilation were defined, with which experimental data was analyzed. The results showed that the ventilation attenuation was acceptable, that is, reversible ventilation system was suitable for room ventilation usages. It was also pointed out the ideal and unfavorable working conditions of reversible ventilation system, which can be taken as the guide to actual applications.
