Abstract :
Nowadays, small diesel generators which are isolated from distribution systems, are use in order to supplying a collection of non-linear power electronic loads in offices. Voltage harmonics caused by these non-linear loads have a unique importance in the performance of these isolated generators. In this paper the parameters of a small diesel generator are obtained using finite elements. Then with considering space harmonics and a computer base model in time domain, the voltage and currents of generator and nonlinear load are calculate, and the effect of space harmonics on the performance of this generator are considered.
