Abstract :
We show a real-time target enhancement model in thermal infrared imaging watching system. Using local frequency-selected theory, we only highlight the target areas, but not the whole image regions. The model helps and robustly improving the signal-to-background ratio, which make the objects be viewing and detected easily. The good performance in security and defence system proves the model is a strong supplement to traditional infrared imaging systems.
