Abstract :
In this paper, a cooling system for an infrared sensor window was analyzed. We applied the same conditions used in an experiment to a numerical analysis. For the heat-fluid-structure interaction analysis, we used a commercial professional heat-fluid-structure analysis program. The results of the analysis were found to be in good agreement with those of the experiment. Under steady-state conditions, the temperature distribution on the top surface of the window from the simulation results was a little higher than that from the experimental results. The rates of temperature increase in the transient simulation and the experiment were almost identical.
