Abstract :
This paper deals with the use of modern control algorithms in the development and production of automotive components and functional groups. First, it describes the industrial requirements in hardware and software. Second, a modern automation conception with distributed intelligence is presented and all implemented control algorithms are listed and discussed. Finally, some practical examples of installed test systems are shown
