Abstract :
Start-to-end calculation has been performed to estimate the performance of the THz FEL system using a photocathode RF gun which will be installed to existing MIR-FEL (KU-FEL) system at Institute of Advanced Energy, Kyoto University. The aim of this system is a test bench to realize the table-top THz system. The electron beam properties have been evaluated from the photocathode RF gun to the entrance of undulator by using the simulation code PARMELA. FEL gain was calculated by GENESIS 1.3.
