  • Abstract
    Cooling is very important for a high power combiner. This paper presents a thermal analysis on the cooling of cavity for power combiners. In this study, we concentrate on the influence from heat sink, cover of the cavity and the gaps between cavity and heat sink. At last the simulation result shows that aluminum box with copper plated on its outer surface can significantly reduce the maximum temperature of the cavity, which will improve the cooling of the power combiner.
