            Abstract :
A new wide-band direct conversion receiver based on Five-port structure is presented that is very suitable for software radio applications. New five-port structure consists of five wideband power splitters and a 900 phase shifter, including a set of composite right/left-handed (CRLH) transmission line (TL) sections. As an example the transceiver is designed for covering three WiMAX frequency bands, from 2.3 GHz to 6 GHz. Simulation results show the performance of this architecture as multi-mode or multi-standard receiver in a very wide bandwidth.
