  • Abstract
    In RADAR technology detection capability of radar is one of the most important factors. It depends on various parameters. Transmit power, wavelength, antenna gain, frequency, radar cross section area have effects on detection range of radar. Normal operation of radar may be hampered in presence of jammer. Jamming is usually referred to as an Electronic Countermeasure (ECM) which has an intention to disturb regular operation of radar. Range reduction factor of radar is decreased if there is a jammer. For this reason, the detection range of radar is also decreased. This paper has proposed a method to increase the detection capability of radar in presence of jammer by controlling radar effective temperature.
