Abstract :
In the last few year architectures based on low IF/zero IF have been proposed and investigated. The low IF/zero IF receivers are alternatives to the classical superheterodyne receiver in terms of cost and integration. In this paper the system level simulation of novel Low IF receiver has been investigated for Bluetooth front end design. The receiver uses a dual IF architecture to cover the ISM band 2.400-2.485 GHz. The designed front end has been implemented in ADS, key performance value meet the bluetooth requirement. With the RF input signal of center frequency 2.44 GHz, the novel low IF front end architecture exhibits 55.46 dB front end gain, 8.341 dB Noise Figure, 0 dBm IIP3 and Image rejection of 56.23 dB.
