Abstract :
The copper heavy metal wastewater does lots of harm to people and it is difficult to deal. Using flocculant to treat copper wastewater has a lot of advantages. Under certain conditions proceeded modification of a kind of clay which has the unique characteristic of absorbability. Then the modification clay and the polymerization iron carbonyl ion can play polyreaction, to innovate a new type of macromolecule compound flocculant. The new flocculant has many high capabilities of adsorption and flocculence, and it is a new kind of the highly active and environmental protection compound flocculant. Using it to treat copper heavy metal wastewater, the effects of the amount of the flocculant, pH value, and copper ionic concentration to the removal efficiency was studied.
