Abstract :
A feed method is presented for thin-wire model of transmission-line matrix (TLM) method. After the feed point added to the thin-wire, the former scattering and connection formulas of the feed point has changed, so the new voltage iterative calculation of the feeding point is derived using traditional circuit model of TLM thin-wire and equivalent circuit method. This paper provides a complete feed model algorithm for TLM thin-wire model. The input impedance of wire antenna is calculated using this method, the results have good accuracy comparing with the data in the former literatures, so the validity of this feed method is confirmed. Using the feed method proposed in this paper, TLM method can be used to solve the port properties of wire structure, therefore this method has practical significance.
