Author_Institution :
Dept. of Electr. & Comput. Eng., Univ. of Dayton, Dayton, OH, USA
Abstract :
In this paper, the current state of metamaterials is discussed with reference to fields of interest, research efforts, advantages and limitations, and applications. While the range of frequencies at which metamaterials work extends past the visible light range, the scope of this paper will be the electromagnetic spectrum from GHz to THz.
