Abstract :
We investigate the relativistic Doppler reflection from a photoinduced plasma front in a semiconductor, both theoretically and experimentally. This effect can generate THz radiation with significantly increased bandwidth. Realistic simulations reveal important deviations from the simple continuous-wave theory.
