Abstract :
This paper describes approximate formulas for sending-end voltage and current in a horizontal grounding conductor. The formulas are derived based on the lattice diagram method, and are expressed in time domain. This paper discusses a measurement method for surge impedance of a horizontal grounding conductor using the approximate formulas.
