Abstract :
The dissipative Hamiltonian realization of the power system connected with on-load tap changer (OLTC) and nonlinear load is discussed in this paper. First, a novel dissipative Hamiltonian realization of switched nonlinear differential algebraic systems is put forward. A sufficient condition is proposed to complete the dissipative Hamiltonian realization. Then, we construct a switched structure preserving model for a power system equipped with OLTC and nonlinear load and transform it to an equivalent dissipative Hamiltonian realization reformulate. The proposed dissipative Hamiltonian realization can facilitate the stability analysis and controller design of the power system under emergency conditions.
