Abstract :
Integration of distributed heterogeneous data sources has been and continues to be a challenge for data-centric tasks at organizations that rely on such data sources. A common approach to this problem is to create a global view of these data sources and use the global view as the single representation of the data. In this paper, we present a schema integration method to extract the schematic information from the local schemas to create the global view. This method focuses on resolving some structural and semantic discrepancies among the local schemas
