Abstract :
This paper presents a simulation program for computation of field coupling to multiconductor transmission line cable bundles above a perfectly conducting ground plane. The approach is based on an extended transmission line theory which considers shielded multiconductor transmission lines as well as the influence caused by bends. For validation the results of a single transmission line with a bend above a ground plane are compared with results provided by a simulation program based on the method of moments. Simulation results for a practical line arrangement with bends as well as the coupling to a shielded multiconductor transmission line are discussed
