Abstract
The paper addresses the central issues in EMC modelling which make it particularly challenging. Topics include broadband models, multi-scale modelling, advanced material modelling and the treatment of uncertainties. It is shown that the treatment of complexity in all its manifestations is the key issue to be addressed and progress along these lines is reviewed.
