  • Abstract
With the fierce competition between high-speed rail (HSR) and civil aviation, the concept of “air-rail inter-modality” emerges. This article focuses on domestic air-rail inter-modal network research and design, simplifies the air-rail inter-modal model by market share rate model and brings the ideas of least slack and least regret into Branch-and Bound algorithm to improve the solving efficiency. In the example analysis, among the 130 O-D pairs that connect 15 airports, 37 pairs choose the inter-modality with 5 HSR lines respectively and the total transport cost decreases by 7.3%, which provides the theoretical support for domestic air-rail inter-modal network design.
