Abstract :
In the present era of rapid development and related complexities, highly motivated, competent and adaptable workforce is vital to an organizationpsilas success. Creating sustainable growth in an organization involves healthy dosage of intelligence, emotions, spirituality and meaning at the workplace that improves productivity with morale and vision. This view is gaining appreciation among management consultants and human resources professionals who are sensing the trend and modifying the management practices accordingly. This becomes more imperative when to deal with technocrats and scientists where sensitivities and complexities related to high skill set and mechanacity of work environment are involved. This paper aims at identifying and defining the components of collective intellect for efficient working of highly skilled professionals. It also tries to establish a linkage between collective intellect and human resource management issues at the workplace specifically related to the technical domain.
