Abstract :
Electronic communication system i.e. the radio wave propagation is completely depends on the medium. The signals of LF and VLF are rapidly alternated by the earth´s surface. The medium and short wave signals are also affected by troposphere and ionosphere conditions. The line of sight propagation depend both the troposphere condition and ground conductivity. There are various propagation models currently used by the wireless industry for signal transmission within the frequency range 150-1800 MHz. Hata-okumura two rays model and the knife-Edge diffraction model are most important of them. Fading is another important parameter that also have to consider for designing a good wireless communication system.
