            Abstract : 
The author proposes a novel type of digital oscillator and analyzes its properties using complex phasors. Bounds of amplitude deviation and phase jitter are discussed theoretically and confirmed by simulation. As an example, it is shown that both relative amplitude deviation and phase jitter in radians can be within 0.0005 for an initial amplitude of 10.000. A time-varying coefficient oscillator is also discussed in connection with application to a sweep oscillator or a digital frequency modulator
