Abstract
The low-cost fabrication of a metal wire-grid polarizer for the terahertz (THz) region was demonstrated. An aluminium grid was patterned onto a thin silica (SiO2) layer. The performance of the THz polarizer was evaluated through experimental measurements. The experimental results were compared with the simulation results.
