Abstract :
A cylindrical conformal 2 × 2 microstrip circularly polarized antenna sub-array operating at millimeter-wave band is proposed. A square patch with triangular truncated corner is designed to construct circularly polarized element. This element is connected by T mode parallel feed network to form 2 × 2 circularly polarized antenna arrays. Based on planar structure analysis, a conformal sub-array mounted on the surface of cylindrical is presented. Through full-wave simulation, the relative bandwidth is 30% (VSWR<;2) at 28.5~39 GHz and gain is 12.4 dB in 35 GHz.
