Abstract :
A new algorithm that is used for the solution of three-phase (or unsymmetrical) power flow analysis of both transmission or distribution systems under unsymmetrical operating conditions and power quality problems, is presented. This is new and robust, and is developed on the extension of the Newton-Raphson method and its Jacobian in complex form, that gives the solutions in whole phasor format. A comparative example is presented to illustrate the convergence characteristics of proposed method
