Abstract
A pilot-scale anaerobic-anoxic-oxic (A2O) bioreactor with 125 m3ldrd-1 capacity was tested for treating real low strength municipal wastewater. The results showed that when the hydraulic retention time (HRT) was 9.6 h , the sludge retention time (SRT) was 15 d, the sludge recycling ratio (SRR) and mixed liquor recycling ratio (MLRR) were 0.5 and 1.5 respectively, the effluent could meet the first A order (China GB18918-2002) .It was suggested that the operational state could be well known according to the changes of DO & ORP on-line sensors.
