Abstract
Choosing China´s eastern, central and western panel data between 2000-2005, by applying panel data model, from the supply and demand aspects which influence R&D, this paper analyzes the decisive influence of supply and demand factors of R&D input in the form of knowledge production function. Besides this paper also analyzes the economies of scale of knowledge production function. The result shows that there exists difference of R&D input and output among different regions which shows economic development level has significant effect on innovation capability. Besides, this paper finds that industrial structure has important decisive influence on independent innovation.
