Abstract
As one of the fundamental courses in computing curriculum, the course construction of operating systems is important and difficult. In this paper, we pro-posed an innovative framework for teaching operating system with practical operating system which emphasizes on the effective combination of theoretical teaching and experimental teaching. What´s more, the framework can be customized and tailored for different levels including scientific type, engineering type and application type according their training objectives. To implement this framework, we edit two textbooks including the theoretical textbook and the experimental textbook.
