Abstract :
There are many unsafe factors with residual ore bodies in complex environments, since mining industry simply be an industry with frequent accidents. Because it is able to make the analyzing more clear to the affect factors by 3D visualization simulation, a method for mining visualization simulation and safety assessment is introduced based on reviewing the visualization theories and research results at home and abroad in the paper. After that a visualization model is established by DIMINE mine visualization software with the mining and geological condition of JSD mine 312 ore block for illustration. This model can clearly show the shape and spatial distribution and the unsafe state of the mined-out areas and caving area and subsided area around the block in any angle. Based on the results, the LEC approach is applied to scientifically determine the major hazards of the block, which may make the block mining design more reasonable and safety.
