Abstract
In this paper, a novel tree-shaped antenna with reconfigurable radiation pattern is proposed. The proposed antenna is simulated by the full-wave electromagnetic simulator. From the results of the simulation, it can be seen that its input impedance bandwidth is 34% (4.46 GHz-6.29 GHz). By controlling the states of switches, the radiation patterns of the proposed antenna are reconfigured. The antenna can be used in modern wireless communication systems.
