Abstract
We discuss the design, development and testing of a prototype object-oriented framework for performing supply chain simulations. We define the primary objects required for supply chain simulations and design how each of these objects are related to each other to form a supply chain network. We also present how persistence is handled for instantiating supply chain network simulations from a database. Finally, we present a small example simulation to validate and illustrate the concepts.
