Abstract :
A new kind of flocculants, named Polymer Silicate Phosphate Ferrous Sulfate(PSPFS), was synthesized with ferrous sulfate as main material and silicate and phosphate as additive. The influencing factors and synthesis technology of PSPFS were determined by studying the treatment of high-viscosity oil petrification wastewater of Liaohe Pertrochemical Corporation. The influencing factors level were determined, as following, mass percent concentration of ferrous sulfate is 55%,concentration of sodium silicate is 15%, mol ratio of ferrous sulfate and hydrogen peroxide is 1.2:1, oxidation temperature is 40 degree Celsius, oxidation time is 4 hours, polymerization temperature is 60 degree Celsius and polymerization time is 2 hours. The optimal rates of component were determined by uniform design method. Mol ratio of ferric ion to silicate is 5.0:1, ferric ion to sulfuric acid is 3.2: 1 and ferric ion to phosphate radical is 18.0:1. The experimental results show that the flocculant, synthesized under the conditions mentioned above, were able to remove 94.1% of oil from high-viscosity oil petrification wastewater of Liaohe Pertrochemical Corporation.
