Abstract :
We describe a simulation model of a liquid fuel supplier operating on the Ohio River. Each day, orders arrive for six different fuel types at six different locations. The goal of this study was to determine the appropriate number of tow boats required to meet the demand for fuels. The system was analyzed using Arena and OptQuest.
