Abstract :
We study the sum rate maximization problem for spectrum sharing multiple input multiple output (MIMO) broadcast channels (BC) under Rayleigh fading. We assume that the receiver side has the perfect channel state information (CSI), however the transmitter side has partial CSI in the form of channel covariance matrix feedback. Based on multiple auxiliary variables, Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) optimality conditions and broadcast channel-multiple access channel (BC-MAC) duality, we investigate a sum rate optimization problem for spectrum sharing MIMO network under Rayleigh fading and solve it using an iterative technique. Simulation results are produced to demonstrate convergence of the proposed algorithm.
