Blind detection of telecommunication signals in a radio band is very helpful in cognitive radio environments; especially, when the second user does not have enough information about the primary user. In this paper, we proposed a new sensing technique based on discriminant analysis. This method evaluate spectral lines to be classified into noise or signal. The result is 10 dB better than energy detector.
