  • Abstract
According to the character of the high meteorological detecting data, this paper uses the non-uniform B-spline curve fitting with genetic algorithm to calculate the node vectors, and proposes the optimizing method for creating the chromosome to accelerate the convergence of the algorithm. We establish the non-uniform B-spline curve with less control points which can fit the meteorological detecting data curve within the given precision. The efficiency of our method is validated by the numerical experiments of fitting the feature points of temperature-height curve.
