Abstract
The open numerical control system of winding machine used to manufacture FRP pipes is composed of an industry computer and a synchronization motion controller. A frequency inverter and a servo motor are used to accomplish close-loop control of the spindle and the carriage respectively. The motion controller based on DSP and CPLD was designed, and the position loop adopts the compound control strategy of parameters self-tuning fuzzy PID controller and feedforward control. This paper presents the mathematical model of non-uniform speed transmission controller, the control algorithm of position loop, the position function of winding machine and its interpolation method. The control software of upper computer is developed with VC++ 6.0 language based on Windows 2000 platform, and the structure and the functions of winding control program are described
