Abstract
The authors deal with an improved error model of data acquisition systems, easily extensible to digital signal processor channels. The nonlinear behavioral model may be changed by the adjustment of few parameters. An automatic procedure to estimate the model parameters is proposed and the influence of the parameter variation is also reported. The methodology is first described by preliminary simulated tests and then it is applied to real data relative to a actual digital signal processor channel
