Abstract
Controllability of system is basic conception for analyzing and designing system with modern control theory. Bond graph contains system structure properties and can determine state variables. A simple method of determining controllability with bond graph is introduced in the paper. Only by assigning causality form for all storages elements of system in bond graph, which comply with firstly assigning integral causality and then assigning derivative causality, the controllability condition can be determined. Comparing with conventional numerical matrix method, this method does not depend on parameters of state matrices A and B and overcome miscellaneous computation for obtaining controllability matrix two examples analyzing with controllability and uncontrollability process verify the effectiveness of the method
