Abstract :
At present the intermetallic coating of Pt3Zr is used widely as an anti-emissive coating. Zirconium carbide technology consists in preliminary forming a coating of zirconium carbide ZrC on a grid from a coaxial vacuum arc plasma source. The main of the requirements raised to this operation is first of all the technological effectiveness of coating with guaranteeing of necessary adhesion and roughness range of coating to be formed simultaneously. The next layer of platinum Pt is plated. Intermetallic coating Pt3Zr is formed as a result of thermal annealing.
