Abstract :
The important step in development of almost all systems of communication is the design and practical implementation of the data transmission protocol. It is worth saying that peculiarities of modified automatic repeat request with selective repeat (MARQ-SR) algorithm, which was proposed earlier by the author for increasing ARQ-SR algorithm throughput, have a significant effect on data transfer protocol. This paper presents the data transmission protocol for the mentioned above algorithm implementation. The possible applications are stated as well.
